Nutrition and Yoga Retreat for Busy Brains and Nervous System Calm

Get ready for your summer with a day to calm your busy brain and feel soothed and relaxed.

This day is the perfect wind down if you’ve been feeling busy, stressed and in need of some TLC.  The day will combine gentle Hatha yoga, restorative yoga, Nidra (think yoga sleep!), breathwork, soothing sound bath, delicious and nourishing foods and learning how to support your resilience to stress with simple, practical and easy to follow nutrition guidance.

When?  Sunday 19th July, 10am to 4:30pm.

Where?  Sunfyr Barns, Framingham Pigot, Norfolk.

Here is a brief run down of the day: 

  • 10am:  Arrive, juice shots, fruit and herbal teas. 
  • 10:15am:  Meditation practice and Gentle Hatha.  A focus on calming busy brains and soothing the nervous system.  Don’t worry if you find meditation tricky – I’m going to teach you some simple techniques you can use to start meditating more regularly. 
  • 11:45am:   Herbal teas, light snack, connection time.  
  • 12:00 to 1pm.  Nutrition and Herbs workshop:  how to support your nervous system and stress resilience.  Simple tools you can take home to put into practice straight away. 
  • 13:10 to 13:40:  Breathwork masterclass:  how to use your breath to support your vagus nerve and ability to remain calm.  
  • 13:45 to 14:30:  Light vegetarian lunch. With a delicious, nourishing treat.    
  • 14:30 to 16:30:  Restorative yoga, nidra and sound bath.  Settle in, let go and melt into peaceful relaxation and a deep yogic sleep.  

The day includes a light vegetarian lunch, herbal teas, drinks and snacks.  You’ll also have a goody bag to take home, with little gifts and products hand curated by me.
